Meet the Team

Sharla Joslyn
Sharla created Natural Health of West Michigan in 2013 when she became a Certified Natural Health Professional and Zyto Certified. She started the business by doing health scans on friends and family outside of an office in her home. After about 4 years, the business began to grow, and she moved to the current office on Brown St. in Allendale. Sharla sees her work as a personal ministry to help people get back to the way God intended our bodies to function. Aiding clients in getting down to the root cause of what is going on and pointing them back to foods, vitamins, minerals, herbs, and therapies encourages the body to heal the way it is created to. Her primary goal is not just to put a band-aid on the symptom or problem, but to listen to each client's concerns and create a plan to help them get back to optimal health.
Sharla has been married to her husband Mike for 25 years and has been blessed with four children and one son-in-law. As a family, they enjoy going up North to their cottage, traveling, and seeing new areas in Michigan and the country. She loves to spend time in God’s word, read, take her dog Max for walks, and spend time with family and friends.
Brielle Tilton
Brielle Tilton joined the family practice a little over two years ago. When she joined, she went back to school to become a Certified Natural Health Coach through Trinity School of Natural Health. She has a love for engaging with people, hearing their story, and getting the opportunity to help them get back to the best version of themselves. She is in charge of the office therapies, gut health programs, and sensitivity treatments, as well as being the face you see when you walk into the office.
Brielle got married last August to her husband, Jaxon, in a beautiful outdoor summer ceremony. They built a house in Holland where they live now. Brielle loves to travel, be outdoors, go to the beach, play tennis, hike, and explore new places. She feels lucky that God opened the door and gave her an opportunity to work with her Mom every day. Growing the business to help reach as many people as possible in their health journey.

Heather VanderVeen
Heather will be joining the practice in September. After meeting Sharla in 2020 on a mission trip to Guatemala, she began taking her daughter, who was struggling health-wise, for health scans at Natural Health of West Michigan. Seeing her positive results led to God nudging her increasingly in the direction of natural health. She went back to school at Trinity School of Natural Health in 2024 and obtained her certifications as a Certified Natural Health Professional and Certified Zyto Specialist. Her passion for getting to know and help people has been utilized in selling real estate for the past 15 years, and now she looks forward to using this passion to get to know clients and find the right tools to better their health.
Heather has been married to her husband, Doug, for 25 years. She has five children ranging in age from 14 to 21, both biological and adopted. Her experience in raising adopted children as well as raising special needs children has given her a desire to seek natural solutions to ensure her family is healthy and happy. All of her children are involved in high school and college sports, so her hobbies at the moment are sporting events for her children, including involvement in Special Olympics, as her daughter loves to be involved in sports just like her siblings.
